Applying Frames of Reference

The article Putting OT Theory Into Action: Knowing and Applying Frames of Reference helped me get a better understanding of the PEO (person-environment-occupational) model because of the examples of case studies that went along with it, especially the story of Ann. It also made me realize that OT's not implementing their job description or using a client centered mind happens more often than thought of. Overall I learned that it is pretty much impossible for an OT to do their job (make change happen) without correctly and efficiently assessing their clients holistically, and a good way to make this happen is by using the PEO model.
